This plan is valid from the date of purchase with CPS taking over on Day 31 so your coverage starts right away! This warranty offers the best coverage since it protects you against accidents and liquid spilling on it as well as manufacturer defects or malfunctions.Â
The accidental option gives you complete Peace of Mind. By adding the accidental option to one of our service plans, you are enabling us to cover unintentional damages to your product as a result of: impact or dropping, liquid damage or unintentional physical damage. Your digital camera or lens dropped and now can not zoom in or out? You may be considered quite clumsy, but You’re Protected. You get the idea! This option goes above and beyond a manufacturer’s warranty which would not provide coverage on such damages as listed above.
Although accidental coverage covers most damages it does not cover intentional damages of any kind or losses due to theft. When adding accidental coverage to your contract, your service plan will begin immediately upon the date of purchase and extend up to five full years depending on the coverage purchased. Adding accidental coverage guarantees that your product will perform as intended for the life of your coverage.

We register this warranty for you and Consumer Protection Services will email you a copy.
How to Obtain Service
You can either bring the item into our store and we will send it at our cost for repair or you can ship it at your cost to the manufacturer. They cover the shipping back to you.
Limitations of Coverage
This limited service contract applies only to the product specified herein. This service contract will cover one digital camera body and one lens, or one video camera body and one lens providing that both pieces of equipment are listed on the same sales receipt. This plan is void if the registered product exceeds the service contract price category. Such service, repair or adjustment of the equipment is assured the registered contract holder. It does not cover units whose serial number has been altered, defaced or removed. This service contract does not cover accessory flashes, additional accessory lenses, batteries, lens caps, filters, power adapter, digital media, DVD’s, tapes, software, remotes, docking stations, cables, firmware upgrades or additional accessories.
This service contract does not cover equipment which is damaged by:
- Intentional abuse, misuse or damaged beyond recognition
- Fire
- Lost
- Stolen

Transfer Inquiries

Consumer Protection Services Inc. will not be liable for loss of revenues or profits, inconvenience, expenses of substitute equipment, loss of use, incidental, consequential damages, loss or damage to software and digital media.Â
This service contract is not an insurance policy or a warranty. This service contact is only valid if positive identification of the unit covered hereunder is presented at the time of service along with your proof of purchase.Â
